a brand new breaststroke for Friday

yay for coached practices!!

My breaststroke feels tons better. I have to remember to kick just a teeny bit later--once my arms are already stretched out. It feels much cleaner, and quite a bit faster.
Backstroke--I need to try to think about keeping my forearm parallel to the pool bottom in the midpoint, and side sweep to my feet.
There was a lot to take in.

okay, here it is.
Warmup (400m): 100 swim, 100 IM kick, 100 free pull, 100 backstroke
Power (200m): 6x vertical blasts; 4x 25m underwater dolphin kick (as much rest as required). First two on your back, as far as you can underwater; second two on your front, as far as you can underwater.
Speed (400m): 16x25. Four free on :40, four fly on :50, four free on :40, four back on :50; descending 1-4 on each set of four.* These were fast.
Technique (800m): 4x [2 x 100m] :30 sec rest. -- drill/swim/drill/swim, IM order
Warmdown (200) easy.
===2000 (but it felt like 3500)

*some of these were timed, but I can't remember what they were. I remember one low :18 on the frees, um, and a :23 on my backstroke, I think. There was a fly under :20 too.

Original workout.
