last week, parco sempione. this week, "the Inn" hill.

It was a tough sell today, going for a run. So I opted for change.

Up the seniors' hill, through their park, across the ridge, up the Inn hill, through the neighbourhood, down the bush trail to the secondary school, through their park, past the churches, and home. Approximately 3km, my guess. Took me 28 minutes, no stops--running the whole way. I was afraid that if I stopped to walk, I would freeze to death. This is at -2C. I know. It's going to get a whole lot colder, so I'd better get used to it. . . .

I was freezing to start, then overheated. Here's what I wore:
-tights
-red singlet
-yellow 1/4 zip
-fleece vest
-RR gloves
-BL cap
I think I may have done better without the fleece and with a lightweight jacket, which I don't currently possess. And I'm not sure it's worth the purchase, given my one run per week and potentially 3 weeks out of the year at this temperature. There were some light snowy patches on the bush trail. I can't wait until it really snows and I can ski instead!
