Today: a walk up the hill with the dog to the half-shovel path at the seniors' residence.
Yesterday: roughly 1100m in the pool, preceded by a walk down the hill through the muskeg trails on snowshoes.
Inventive set from last night's workout: 25m kick, 50m pull, 75m drill, 100m swim; starting in the middle of the length (so as to maximize turns). One free, one choice, one free, one choice. Note to self: do this again sometime.
Rockin' tip from coach Julie: swim like you have a grapefruit in your armpit. I'm just going to think about that some.
Backstroke flags: we get to use them again, if we put them away after. Sounds reasonable!
The cold: on it's way out, while I try to keep it low-key on the lungs.
