I have been very hungry lately. Very hungry. Yesterday I made roughly six pounds of meatballs. And here is the remaining roughly five-and-a-half pounds of meatballs.I like to tell myself that the ravenousness (is that a word?) has to do with the changing of the seasons. I mean, bears eat more to survive the coming cold weather, right? Sure, maybe I don't live in an outdoor den all winter, but some days our old house does get pretty cold! And on today's morning walk, everything was frosted already. This was a frosty picnic table and the river all misty at 7:30am.

Today's swim:
Warmup (400): swim, kick, pull, swim
Main set (2200): 10x200 freestyle on 4:00, then 2x200 hard [:30]
Recovery (300): 3x100--50 choice kick/50 choice
Warmdown (200): easy
===3100
The 200s were hard, no question. My first was at about 3:24, and the following fluctuated in and around 3:30. My slowest was 3:40. And the 2x200 hard? The first came in at 3:23, the second, 3:30 on the dot. But I swear, it was hard. And 3100? I don't think I've seen that in five years. Yay!
Here is a link to the original workout.
*on frost and meatballs: they were both on my mind today. But on second look, it sounds like one of those saying that my parents use. Like "wouldn't that frost your socks!" (said in reference to something unusual). Hmm. Is there one with frost and meatballs?

oh yeah. And there was 40 minutes walking with Bruno + 9 minutes of core. Of course.
