It's still too cold to ski, so I packed my stuff and dragged Mike to the gym with me.Roughly, I spent about 40 minutes on the treadmill, with 5 minutes each warm-up and cool-down, and the rest on 6:30 to 1:15 run-to-rest, running at 5, 6, and 5.5 mph. Then, in line with my new habit, a round of core. I had been missing the extra cardio work . . . especially while at the pool and completely out of breath!
And, this is what it looked like outside, at a balmy -27C. At these temps, I'm grateful for the beautiful sun on some fluffy snow. And when can I ski already?!!
