a big ski

We went about 8km. Or 10km, depending on your perspective. On the Athabasca, with a mostly-broken trail, from John and Geoff's work last week. It was just breathtaking.

We saw two moose, some wolf and coyote tracks, deer tracks, and a couch.
There was some slush, and a steep downhill (which became a steep uphill on the way back. . . ), but overall, it was a fantastic day for a ski and an adventure.
