Another noon swim. I was winded.
In a big way.
I think the kick contributed to feeling tired and out of breath. So has doing no other aerobic activity in about four weeks. I suppose that skipping core for the same roughly four weeks also isn't helping.
It went like this.
Warm-up (500m): 400 reverse IM (kick, swim, drill, swim), 100 free pull.
Minispeed (300m): 4 x 75 [10 sec. stationary kick at the flags, 25m fast kicking, 50m swim).
Aerobic (1000m): 400 free, 3 x 200 choice (IM, free, IM).
Warm-down (200m): mixed.
===2000m
Note to self: an effective new year's resolution might include returning to core. And some additional aerobic activity.
